Toca Life: Neighborhood is a simulation game or, more accurately, a pretend play game for young children. In this Toca installation, you enter your new neighborhood where you live in a house that you can decorate and customize. You can also befriend people around you in your neighborhood and each character has their own personality. There are also a bunch of shops and eateries to explore in the neighborhood. In short, Toca Life: Neighborhood is an expansive simulation game that offers a great and innocent past-time activity for your child.

The game begins with your character moving into a new apartment. It’s up to you what you purchase and the look you go for. If you like the interior simple, bohemian or industrial, it’s up to you to choose it. You can also invite your friends to your house and ask them to help decorate it. Decoration is given a prime importance in this game and you can personalize your living space with several items like clocks, plants, pillows, tables, paintings and more.

The next most important aspect of this free to play pretend play game is socializing and meeting with the characters in your neighborhood. You can make friends with them and hang out at the local Rob-o-Café. In fact, you can even choose what you want to order from these cafes and restaurants from a generous list of options.

Toca Life: Neighborhood features brand new characters including some from the earlier Toca Life games. In total, there are about 23 new characters. You also have the option to choose from 4 different apartment styles with their unique themes. Making friends in this game is important and you can hang out with your friends at the local café, order smoothies from the giant robot smoothie machine with an option to choose from four different flavors.

There are also some bonus features in the game to make your experience in this virtual neighborhood a complete package. These additional features include a disco club, a sloth toy machine, pets in the elevator, and even a photo booth where you can take photos.

Toca Life: Neighborhood is a game that tests the limits of child’s imagination and creativity by providing him or her with tons of different, cute options in the game. This pretend play is a visual eye candy for sure with cutesy sound effects and music to complement it. The developers of the Toca Life series, Toca Boca, are also planning to introduce a new mega app that could incorporate all of the locations in Toca Life series together in one and you might be able to connect your current Toca Life: Neighborhood game with this upcoming mega app as well.

Apart from a few bugs here and there, Toca Life: Neighborhood is a wonderful option of an innocent, fun and creative game for young children.
